Lagos Life updates & verification notes
A careful record of what we can confirm, with a clear distinction between game releases, official service information and our own guide reviews.
Our review on 8 October 2026 did not establish a dated gameplay release announcement from a public primary source. This does not mean the game has not changed. It means we do not have enough evidence to publish a patch history as fact.
Verified gameplay release log
There are no verified entries to list. We will add a release only when its announcement, date and changes can be checked. A fan page's “last updated” label is not enough evidence for a game release date.
Verified official service note
PAYMENT INFORMATION · NOT A GAMEPLAY PATCH
Current policies identify a payment-provider change
The current official Terms of Use and Privacy & Cookie Policy identify Flutterwave as the payment provider and say Bachs handled payments made before 6 October 2026. We checked those pages on 8 October 2026. This records what the policies say; it is not a tested purchase flow or a claim about new gameplay features.
Companion editorial review: 8 October 2026
We checked the official game's signed-out public page, official accounts panel, terms, privacy policy and disclaimer. We also compared selected unofficial guide reports that explicitly link to lagoslife.app. No account was created, no private game endpoint was queried, and no game assets were copied into this companion.
The public official material supports the game's identity, age requirement, fictional-money rules and support channels. It does not give us a current numerical salary, rent or starting-background table. Community pages disagree about career coverage, so those claims stay visibly unverified in our jobs reference.
This is a review of our evidence, not a release date for the game. We do not refresh article dates automatically when the site is rebuilt or pretend that checking a link means a feature was tested.
What counts as a verified update here?
- A public primary source. A game notice or post from an account linked by the official website.
- A clear date. We distinguish when a change was announced, when it was said to ship, and when we reviewed the source.
- A specific change. An exact feature or balance change, without inventing details missing from the announcement.
- Honest scope. “Announced” is not the same as “available”; checking a public post is not an in-game test.
How to check a new feature or changed price
Start with the version of the game you are playing. Keep the city, job level and pay unit alongside a wage; keep the billing period alongside a rent amount. If your game differs from a guide, use the value shown in the game for your next decision and record when you saw it. The Rent Survival Planner lets you edit every input so an old guide figure does not lock your budget to an outdated value.
If a screen fails to load, that alone does not prove an update or outage. Follow the troubleshooting checklist and check official notices before changing account or browser data.
